Florence Master Plan

The City of Florence spent two years creating a Master Plan. The State of Colorado requires communities to develop a master plan to guide their future land use, planning, and growth decisions. The City facilitated focus groups and went out into the community from 2016 and 2017 to talk to citizens and business leaders about the current and future state of the City. The primary areas of concern and focus for the City were economic development/job creation, housing, recreation, and youth engagement, although the plan covers much more. If you have comments or feedback, please contact the Planning Director,

The Florence Master Plan was approved at the Planning Commission Meeting held at City Hall on June 1, 2017. It was then ratified at the City Council Meeting held at City Hall on June 5, 2017.
