Welcome to the Finance Department.

Although the City of Florence does benefit from sales tax revenue, we do not collect sales tax directly from business owners. Businesses pay taxes to the State of Colorado, and funds are disbursed to the City from the State. To ensure the City receives this revenue, businesses will need to list Florence as their location. Peddlers and food trucks must list Florence as a "non-fixed business" location. Visit the Colorado Department of Revenue website for more information.
