The office is open Monday-Thursday from 8:00am to 4:30pm. 

Requirements & Fees 

To retrieve a vehicle from impound you must show: 

• Proof of ownership (title)
• Registration paperwork
• Valid plates 
• Proof of insurance 
• Valid Drive's License

All fees must be paid at the Police Department before your vehicle will be released.

• $150.00 towing charge
• $50.00 administration fee
• $50.00 impound fee
• $30.00/day for storage
• $25.00 reissue impound paperwork 

Abandoned Vehicles & Auction 

After 30 days, vehicles are deemed abandoned and will be available to the public for purchase. These vehicles are listed on Pueblo Craigslist and are sold "as-is, where-is."

• Bike license $1.00

Florence Police Department does not do Certified VIN Inspections

Police Officers 

The Officers will do VIN Inspections (usually off site) only on Wednesdays 10:00am-4:00pm.

As long as you are within City limits of Florence

We Require the Following: 

• Title or Registration paperwork with VIN Number 
• A payment of $25.00 paid in advance. Payment options are cash, check, or online bill pay. 

Records Department 

The Records Department will do VIN Inspections Monday-Thursday from 8:00am to 4:30pm.

• A payment of $25.00 (Either cash or check)
