Public Parks

The City of Florence owns and maintains several city parks, including our principal downtown activity space, Pioneer Park, as well as Florence River Park, which was annexed into the City in 2017 and is approximately 1.5 miles east of the main Florence city limits, and Florence Mountain Park, south of the city limits. The City of Florence does not have a separate Parks and Recreation Department, and most facilities are maintained by the staff from Public Works.

For more information on public park reservation permits, park access permits, please contact City Hall at (719) 784-4848.
